About Jax

Hi, I'm Jax! If I'm not working on my projects, you will find me reading or watching something design related, spending time with my boys (Weston and Hudson) or having a date night with the hubby.  I love a good cup of coffee, catching up with friends/family (in person) and retail therapy.  I am a fitness enthusiast, as I like to eat good food and try out new restaurants.  I am almost always listening to music, dancing with my boys and lighting candles. Laughing every day is something I don't take for granted, as a sense of humor is important to me.  Some say I laugh at my own jokes a little too much, but I embrace it, as laughing keeps me going and keeps things light.

When I was a young girl, my teacher told my mom I used to organize all the cubbies and toys rather than take a nap or go play.  As I got older, I realized that organizing was not only a passion, but something I liked doing, as I felt it kept some peace and order in my life.  This is where my love of decor began, as I found myself staging and accessorizing after to complete the look. 

No matter what occupation I have had in the past, I always seem to be driven to make things more organized, flow better, look nicer, and in turn help people feel better about their current surroundings.  I have been told I have a knack for making spaces presentable when presentable was not an option.  I have worked within all types of budgets and have found many things can be accomplished with a little innovative thinking. 

The past years in my career have taken me on many journeys.  Designing and installing trade show booths and window displays, decorating homes and businesses including special events and holidays, animating and staging spaces for campaign launches, and organizing homes, events, parties, and inventory management systems.
